Four works by renowned American artist Sol LeWitt (1928 – 2007) will go to auction at Los Angeles Modern Auctions (LAMA) on October 9, 2016. One of the leading artists of the 20th century, LeWitt dominated the New York art scene in the 1960s, along with contemporaries such as Donald Judd, Dan Flavin and Robert Ryman. His drawings, prints and paintings employed systematic logic and simple forms to bridge the gap between Minimalism and Conceptual art, sealing his reputation as one of the most important artists of the era. The upcoming sale of these prints represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a suite of late works by a modern master.
