Diego Giacometti, brother to Alberto Giacometti, is most known for designs that incorporated bronze. Common motifs included animals and nature, which he carefully cast using the “lost wax” technique in order to create detailed figures. Diego became most noted for his involvement in public works such as the Chagall Museum in Niece, the Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and the Picasso Museum in Paris.
