This modular seating unit, or hikiah, is an exact reproduction of that designed by Neutra for the Tremaine House, and was made to replace the original seating in Neutra's renowned commission.
This modular seating system is comprised of four backrests and eight bases; twelve pieces total.

This modular seating unit, or hikiah, is an exact reproduction of that designed by Neutra for the Tremaine House. In fact, this example was made to replace the original seating in Neutra’s renowned commission. In 1948, renowned photographer Julius Shulman photographed the home and interior documenting the original hikiah in situ.
