On Gemini XII Aldrin performed the first completely successful spacewalk in human history. Lovell took this great photograph from the window of the Gemini spacecraft with the Maurer space camera and its 80mm lens. The L-band antenna of the Agena and the EVA umbilical cord are visible near Aldrin.
