The present lot hung in the lobby of Ellwood's Los Angeles architectural firm which he designed in 1966. It was acquired from Ellwood’s late wife, Gloria Henry Elwood, an actress best known for her role as Dennis’s mother on the sitcom Dennis the Menace from 1959-1963.
Signed and dated to verso 'Craig Ellwood 65'.
