Samuel Marx was hired by actor Edward G. Robinson in 1941 to re-model his faux Tudor home at 910 North Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills to accommodate his growing art collection. This pair of tables were illustrated in an article featuring the interior in Time magazine, March 1st, 1948.
