Designers and collaborators who were commissioned by Olivetti reads like a who’s who of important designers and architects, including Franco Albini, Gae Aulenti, Mario Bellini, Vico Magistretti, Richard Meier, George Nelson, Carlo Scarpa, Ettore Sottsass, Jr., and Marco Zanuso.

For 31 years, Giovanni Pintori held the post as Art Director of Olivetti where he designed many of the posters sold here in this lot. His graphic works for Olivetti earned him several awards and have been exhibited worldwide at institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in 1952.
